Professor Clearwater
When we were approached by Allen Soil & Water to make river conservation fun, we knew we had a unique challenge ahead of us. Soil & Water had done a great job with their previous campaign that was lighthearted, yet informative.
We decided to create a mascot of sorts - Professor Clearwater. In short 30 second PSAs, Professor Clearwater gives quick tips to help keep our river clean and healthy. We were able to convey fact-based instructions to local residents in an approachable manner. To complement the live-action Professor Clearwater, we designed a vector illustrated caricature logo, as well as some print marketing materials. Professor Clearwater is an excellent example of taking a broad subject and breaking it down into pieces that are easier for consumers to understand and ultimately utilize in their own lives.
